My name is Debbie Clement and I will be posting information as I receive it. I hope you enjoy

I move to the Stillhouse area in 1983. I have lived here about 23 years and I know the people that
live out here.
The City of Belton decided they needed to have a land grab for a Dam to Dam road so they decided
to Annex us.
The annexation was called " Annexation without Representation"
All we got was higher taxes.
The residents outside their Extraterrtorial Jurisdiction decided to Incorporate into a Village and
this would have stopped the surrounding Cities and Belton from Annexing us.
We gathered all the information on how to Incorporate and we went to get the signatures
for our Petition. We made sure we had all the signatures required to Incorporate.
DID JUDGE JON BURROWS HOLD UP THE INCORPORATION SO THE CITY OF BELTON COULD ANNEX
